I have not uploaded any videos for awhile although I have been out detecting, I have uploaded this video because I wanted to share with you my special find :) Hammies don't come up very often where I live, saying that, every time I go on a hunt, I always live in hope of finding one. When this one appeared it came as a complete shock!! ha ha ... Created by VideoShow:http://videoshowapp.com/free

  • Hi Tina, well just WOW, what aย stunning hammie, well done you, can't blame you for getting excited there. That really is a special one, rare to get Irish hammered silver, especially this side of the water. As for the ring, like a few other people here I immediately thought Roman, then read the comments. Pete, crazycressie7ย really does know his Roman stuff and a trip to the FLO with this would e well worth it. Looking forwards to any updates there. Really pleased for you, take care, all the best, GL&HH, Ian.

  • Lovely big Irish hammy and a roman ring๐Ÿ‘Œ you said you donโ€™t get many hammereds, but not many find Irish hammereds over here, so it makes it all the more special/rare to find๐Ÿค— well done you, i read cressy is thinking a roman ring, i thought the same when i seen it found๐Ÿค” defo looks roman to me... turn of a plough on any field can make all the difference, so even though you have searched that field for 3 years, you could go back for 20 years and still find things left right and centre๐Ÿค— Good to see you back on youtube and finding great coins and relics๐Ÿค— Ps i sent you the picture from the Irish and Scottish spink book of your coin๐Ÿ‘

  • Hi Tina and great to see you out in the field ๐Ÿ‘ Wow Tina that is awesome to see you unearth the massive Hammy, looks like you have a James I Irish Shilling ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜ And then a Ring too ๐Ÿ˜ Looks possibly Late Roman perhaps ๐Ÿค” Well you certainly had a great adventure with loads of really nice finds. I would stick to that area and search it a lot more Tina ๐Ÿ‘ Made up for you finding that Hammered though, always a great feeling when you unearth them ๐Ÿ˜Ž ATB GL & HH LittleJohn Metal Detecting ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง

I couldn't keep my eyes off it every time you showed it. The details are amazing considering the age. Big congrats on that :) The ring looks like it is very old also. Hope you are able to find out more on the ring and the coin. Thanks so much for taking us along. Really great to see a video from you too:) Hope all is well your way. Take care, good luck and happy hunting. John
